The “Tavrida” President Hotel, Yalta.
The “Tavrida” Hotel is one of the unique historic landmarks of Yalta.
The hotel, in the past known as the “Russia” guesthouse, was built in 1875 upon the project of the architect Veenberg A.K. At that time it has been ranged among the best European grand hotels.
In the different time periods the hotel was visited by many eminent personalities of the world of Culture and Science. Only a few of Yalta hotels had an honor to welcome such respectable guests. And to very few of Yalta hotels these guests left such rapturous comments.
